What does social justice in counseling look like?
Much of the mental health field assumes that individuals hold all the responsibility for change in their lives. For folks with marginalized identities, this is often far from the truth. A social justice perspective allows us to work from the outside in, honoring our agency, resilience, and power.
I work with any client who feels like I might be the right fit, regardless of identity.
